Our mission is to celebrate the diversity of potato chips, from classic flavors to rare regional specialties, bringing chip enthusiasts together worldwide.
We are and will always be a community-driven platform that allows you to explore, discover, and share your favorite chips with others.
1. What is it?
Cody's Chip Catalogue is an open community tracking the world's chips. It's the *self-proclaimed* largest chip database on the internet.
Whether you're hunting for the best chips in your country or curious about international flavors, we've got you covered!
2. How does it work?
The initial data was scraped from the internet, and then manually verified by me. I'm working on automating this process.
Most of the data is crowdsourced from the community, and we welcome you to contribute! We currently accept submissions through our Discord server.
3. What counts as a chip?
Wikipedia defines a chip as a snack food in the form of a crisp, flat or slightly bowl shaped, bite-sized unit. My definition is a lot more loose.
If it's crunchy and bite-sized, it's a chip. Potato chips, corn chips, wheat chips, chickpea chips, you name it. I wouldn't consider biscuits or crackers chips though, but if you think otherwise, let us know in the Discord server.
But why is there popcorn in the database? Because I like popcorn.
4. What comes next?
I'm working on adding more features to the site, and making it more useful for the community.
This website is currently self-funded, so sponsorships would also be super cool!

I'm Cody, and I'm the one who developed this website..! I'd rather fly under the radar, but I guess this is the internet. Please be kind, this is a hobby project and I'm learning as I go.
